A content platform that floats
Mā Tori is a 40-foot bluewater catamaran cruising between Fiji's reefs and New Zealand's Bay of Islands — turquoise anchorages, ocean passages, spearfishing, crayfish dives, sundowners and squalls. We live the content most creators have to fake. Now we're opening the boat to a small number of creators who want to make something real out here.
The deal is simple: you bring your audience and your creative eye, we bring the boat, the crew and the backdrop. You come aboard for one to two weeks on one of our cruising legs. The day you step on, we hand you a GoPro — it's yours to shoot with the whole time you're aboard. You create for your channels, we collab across all of it, and everything filmed aboard also feeds Mā Tori's channels, Captain's Log and this website.
No agencies, no media kits full of promises. A boat, a camera, and whatever you're good at making.
What you get, what we get
You get the platform
A free berth aboard a proven offshore catamaran on a real cruising leg — Fiji reef season or the NZ coast. Queen cabin, Starlink aboard for uploads, and days built around making content: drone-friendly anchorages, fishing, diving, passages, island life.
You get the kit
A GoPro issued to you on day one — film everything, hand back the footage, keep the story. Add our drone library and the boat's own cameras and you leave with a content bank most trips can't touch.
We get the content
Shared usage rights to everything created aboard — your edits, the GoPro footage, the collabs — for Mā Tori's channels, the Captain's Log and this site. Your name stays on your work, always credited and tagged.
We both get the audience
Every post is a collab: you're tagged on ours, we're tagged on yours. Your audience discovers the boat and the journey; ours discovers you. The rising tide lifts both boats — and this one's for sale, so the reach matters.

We're looking for sailing, travel, adventure, fishing, freediving, fitness and lifestyle creators — audience size matters less than audience engagement and the quality of what you make.
Straight answers
Does it cost anything?
Your berth is free — that's our side of the deal. You cover your travel to and from the boat, and we agree details like provisioning together before you board.
Do I need sailing experience?
No. The crew sails the boat. If you want to learn, we'll put you on a winch — it makes great content anyway.
Who owns the content?
You keep your work on your channels. We get shared usage rights to everything filmed aboard — including the GoPro footage — for Mā Tori's channels and this site, always credited. Exact terms go in writing before you board, so there are no surprises on either side.
How long would I be aboard?
One to two weeks, matched to our cruising schedule. Tell us your availability in the application.
Isn't the boat for sale?
She is — and that's part of the story. Until she finds her new owners, she's making content and memories at full speed. If your audience includes her next owner, everybody wins.
